Iced Chocolate Orange Chai

Delicately spiced with a twist of citrus, this Iced Chocolate Orange Chai brings the warmth of traditional masala spices together with our rich 45% Chocolate Powder and fragrant orange zest. Rich, smooth cocoa notes marry perfectly with chai aromatic for a flavour that’s bold yet comforting.

  • Batch Made Chai Syrup

    • 200g Water 

    • 10 Spiced Chai Tea Bags 

    • 120g Demerara Sugar 

    45% Powder Milk  

    • 360ml Whole Dairy/Dairy-Alt Milk 

    • 20g 45% Chocolate Powder

    Optional

    30ml Double Cream/ Dairy-Alt Cream

    • First make your Chai Tea Syrup by infusing the water with the tea bags by heating it gently in a pan for 5-10 minutes.

    • Once strong enough to your liking, strain the tea bags, return to the pan and add the sugar. Heat to dissolve the sugar then reduce the syrup by half so you have a nice thick consistency.

    • Set aside to cool completely. 

    • Make your chocolate milk, as per the instructions for the 45% Powder Milk. 

    • To serve, pour the syrup and milk over ice then finish with a generous splash of double cream to finish.
